Rose Magnitude is a modern rose fragrance that reinterprets one of perfumery’s most iconic flowers against the backdrop of Australia’s unspoilt landscapes. Inspired by the surreal beauty of a pink salt lake beneath a pastel-coloured sky, this Eau de Parfum captures a rose far removed from cultivated gardens: structured, radiant and unexpectedly wild.
The fragrance opens with the juicy glow of fresh raspberry and the spicy freshness of Egyptian cumin, before revealing a floral heart in which Damask rose blooms alongside violet and the creamy richness of Moroccan iris butter. This radiant heart nestles within a warm, dry base of buckwheat, Indian papyrus and sandalwood-amyris, whilst black vanilla and tonka bean leave a sensual, long-lasting glow.
Created by Dimitri Weber, founder of Goldfield & Banks, in collaboration with the French perfumer Clément Marx of Robertet, Rose Magnitude balances natural elegance with a modern contrast: creamy yet airy, spicy yet tender. Goldfield & Banks was founded in the Sydney area by the Franco-Belgian Dimitri Weber.
The perfumes pay tribute to the richness of Australia and to Joseph Banks, the first Australian naturalist.
They are suitable for both men and women.
Each fragrance is crafted using rare extracts from the Australian wilderness, such as Australian sandalwood, Boronia, Australian rock mosses, blue-grey cypresses and so on. Furthermore, this is the first Australian luxury fragrance brand to rival French quality.
Some fragrances from the “Native Collection” include: Southern Bloom, Wood Infusion, Pacific Rock Moss, Desert Rosewood, Bohemian Lime, Sunset Hour and Ingenious Ginger.
Silky Woods, Purple Suede and Island Lush are fragrances from the “Botanical Series”.
