It is no coincidence that this quote from Gainsbourg opens the Juliette has a gun website. The brand, which had its preview at Colette in Paris in 2006, is as rebellious as it is talented – just like the French-Jewish chansonnier.

The creator of Juliette is Romano Ricci – yes, the great-grandson of the legendary couturier Nina Ricci and the grandson of Robert Ricci, the man who developed the legendary perfume ‘L’Air du Temps’.

Despite his pedigree, Romano is a self-made man who managed to bring Francis Kurkdjian on board for his first perfume, but has been working entirely on his own ever since.
