It's no coincidence that this quote from Gainsbourg opens the Juliette Has a Gun website. The brand, which premiered at Colette in Paris in 2006, is as mischievous as it is talented, just like the French-Jewish chansonnier.

Juliette's creator is Romano Ricci, the great-grandson of legendary couturier Nina Ricci and grandson of Robert Ricci, the man who developed the legendary perfume "L'Air du Temps."

Despite his genetics, Romano is a self-made man. He managed to get Francis Kurkdjian on board for his first perfume, but has since worked entirely solo.

Some of his top fragrances include Lady Vengeance, Not a Perfume, Moscow Mule, Vanilla Vibes, Musc Invisible, Pear Inc., Magnolia Bliss, and the recently launched Miami Shake.
