FRUITY, SPICY, MUSKY

Purple Trouble opens with the juicy seduction of wild blackberry, combined with an unexpected yet perfectly balanced accord of red chili pepper. The fruit reveals its raw, natural character while musk and ambroxan decadently blend with the skin, leaving a sensual, modern trail.

A fruity, musky fragrance with a juicy freshness and an unexpected spicy edge. The scent feels soft and sensual on the skin and reveals a modern composition full of character.

At first, the fragrance feels juicy, bright, and slightly tart. Next, a subtle warmth emerges that creates tension and contrast, after which the scent transitions into a soft, sensual trail that blends beautifully with the skin.

Key notes: Wild blackberry, red chili pepper, musk

A blackberry that cannot be tamed

Not shy, but not too polished either. This blackberry is rich, layered, and full of depth. The juicy freshness takes an unexpected turn when red chili pepper provides a bold and wild accent.

It is like red lipstick on a fresh face, or a sharp line of black eyeliner. A small detail that adds character and a subtle contrast to the whole. If you take a step back, it stands out, but it does not overpower. The red chili pepper gives the fragrance a sharp edge, a spark. The scent does not scream for attention, but neither does it shy away.

Words from the creator

«With Purple Trouble, I wanted to create a fragrance centered around the wild blackberry. Not a shy fruit, nor too polished, but something richer and more layered. A blackberry that feels fruity, yet is simultaneously wild and fresh. Radiant, modern, and full of depth.

But something extra was needed, a small twist. That is where the red chili pepper comes into play. It acts as the 'finishing touch': it brings out the wild character of the blackberry and adds a touch of 'trouble'. Just like the girl who wears the scent.»

Top notes: Wild blackberry

About Juliette has a gun

‘Beauty is the most beautiful revenge for women’.

It is no coincidence that this quote by Gainsbourg opens the website of Juliette has a gun. The brand, which premiered at Colette in Paris in 2006, is as rebellious as it is talented, just like the French-Jewish chansonnier.

The creator of Juliette is Romano Ricci—yes, the great-grandson of the legendary couturière Nina Ricci and the grandson of Robert Ricci, the man who developed the legendary perfume ‘L’Air du Temps’. Despite his genes, Romano is a self-made man who managed to get Francis Kurkdjian on board for his first perfume, but has been working entirely solo ever since.

A few of the top fragrances are Lady Vengeance, Not a Perfume, Moscow Mule, Vanilla Vibes, Musc Invisible, Pear Inc., Magnolia Bliss, Powder Love, and the recently launched Banana Rush.

Juliette also has a luxury line with 4 fragrances, including Oil Fiction, White Spirit, and Liquid Illusion.
